Monika Huntjens
Certified Child Sleep Consultant
CBT-I Insomnia Therapist
Pediatric dietitian
Author of the book "A Baby's Good Night's Sleep"
Since 2017, I have been supporting parents who want to help their children sleep well. In my work, I draw on up-to-date knowledge from fields such as sleep science (somnology), pediatric sleep medicine, pediatric nutrition, and developmental psychology.
I completed training and obtained full certification as a Child Sleep Consultant (Family Sleep Institute, New York), as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) training for adults (Polish Sleep Research Society, National Sleep Foundation, and the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw).
I further expanded my expertise in developmental psychology through studies at SWPS University, specializing in child psychology. I continuously advance my qualifications to provide the highest level of support to families seeking expert guidance in their child’s sleep.
As the first Child Sleep Consultant from Poland, I received accreditation from leading international organizations in the field: the International Pediatric Sleep Association, the European Sleep Research Society, and the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants. I am also a speaker for World Sleep Day and regularly attend international conferences dedicated to pediatric sleep.
I am the only Child Sleep Consultant in Poland to have published a parenting guide on infant sleep: "Dobry sen maluszka".
In 2023, I obtained the title of Pediatric Dietitan. I am currently preparing for an international certification in newborn care.

Cooperation, lectures, events
As a Certified Child Sleep Consultant, I provide individual consultations as well as workshops and training sessions for parents in both Polish and English.
I collaborate with foundations, nurseries, antenatal classes, and other organizations focused on strengthening parental competencies, enabling parents to effectively support their child’s development, upbringing, and education.
I actively engage in projects that I consider meaningful and impactful—those that contribute to creating the best possible conditions for children’s development from the very beginning of life, such as Kampania „Rodzice-Kangury” (the “Parents-Kangaroos” Campaign) and Świadoma Mama.
On a personal note, I am a mother of twins—Mia and Max. Out of deep respect for their privacy, I choose not to share our photos here, as they are now growing into their own independent lives.
They remain my greatest source of pride and quiet admiration. Each day, I witness how thoughtfully they navigate both small and significant challenges, how naturally they connect with others, and how consciously they build meaningful relationships. What moves me most is the way they support one another—with sensitivity, strength, and mutual respect.
I am also deeply devoted to a healthy and intentional lifestyle. I value balanced nutrition and consistent physical activity—running, cycling, and swimming are integral parts of my routine. And, of course, I prioritise sleep as a non-negotiable foundation of wellbeing.
What sustains this consistency is a simple yet powerful belief: nothing truly meaningful happens by chance.
My passion for movement extends far beyond physical wellbeing—it cultivates resilience, self-discipline, and inner strength, all of which naturally permeate other areas of my life.
Those who train regularly will understand—this is a quiet, deeply personal kind of strength.
